Micro Project

                                                                    Visual Scoping

I placed the white floor by going to Game Object and selecting "Plane" and then I selected Different shapes and used the W key to move them and used the R key to stretch them.

Using the first-person controller, Getting a just of the mechanics.

Using the new material tool on my primitives, Exploring what material looks best.

Getting comfortable with the materials, as you can see I have applied the material on individual blocks to make a wall.

Using assets, such as the tree and the water.

Some shapes, assets and materials that I have made a wall and tree with.

some materials, a huge variety I can choose from.

Getting Settled With Maya.

Getting myself familiar with the controls and shortcuts, Putting down 2 primitives.

Using the vertex tool.

Halloween Themed Games

Fortnite have had multiple seasons and character based on Halloween.

Grand Theft Auto 5 have had some association with Halloween. Masks, car livery, cars, bikes,
 clothes.

Minecraft have had multiple Halloween assets and textures.

Luigi's Mansion isn't a Halloween special game but it does have ghosts and dark assets in the game and they can be associate with Halloween.

Lighting in Unity

Here we have a dark atmosphere and I am going to put down some directional light to make the atmosphere more lit up.

I now have a bright object and atmosphere to make the level stand out.

I added a floor and going to add object inside and make the atmosphere dark but the objects stand out.

Using a spotlight on a wall using game object -> light -> spotlight, I then turned up the intensity to 100 for a more proper effect.

Unity C Scripts

Created a invisible cube.

Making a teleporter for scene 2.

I used 3D text and used a spot light for my teleporter to scene 2.

Building Assets for our 3D Game

This is the start of my 3D Model of a pumpkin.

Added some spheres for eyes and added a cube for a mouth and used a cylinder for a stem.

I've been challenged today to use extrusions, faces, Vertices, Scaling, Soft Selecting.

For my pumpkin I used soft Selection on the top vertices and dragged them down and I did the same on the bottom.

I did the mouth by selecting individual faces on the cube and tried to make everything symmetrical by using the scale tool, I selected the mouth again and went to mesh -> booleans -> difference B - A, I did the exact same on the eyes too to make it have a more realistic look, making it more appealing.

Using The Prefabs

Experimenting with some of the prefabs.

I created an animation where the car hits the ball and passes it to the plane and the plane hits it in to the air.

My goal is to make the cars hit the people.

One of the people got stuck to the car bonnet.

A close up of one of the presets.

Texture Sheets

My first texture.

2 Textures so far.

4 textures, wood, pumpkin skin, metal, stone. These textures will be used for walls, objects like benches, fences, caskets, pumpkins.

I had some loading difficulties and difficulties linking up the background to the textures, I resolved this problem by holding alt and clicking between 2 layers.

3D Model of a Casket

Halloween Game

This was our first initial idea for our game,It was going to be a parkour chase game where you would have to successfully escape. As you can see on the image, there was going to be a road around the course where a car would loop around the map to give the game a more eerie effect.

This is our new game idea, It is a maze game where you get chased and have to escape and dodge any dead ends from getting you stuck and eliminated. A little similar to our other idea, we didn't pursue our other idea because we believe it wasn't as creative and interesting as a maze game, we know that so much more detail would be in a maze game than a parkour game. Me, Lewis, Kyle believe that we can pursue this idea and give a exact more advanced replica of our idea.

Importing all of our 3D models, our fence, gate, bench.
